We are currently hiring:
Job Title: Claims Analyst
Job Summary: Claims Analyst is responsible for evaluating, investigating, and processing claims to ensure accuracy, compliance and ensuring resolution while acting as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries.
Compensation Details: Depends on experience with minimum starting salary is $55,000
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the resolution of claims through collaboration with Sales, Brokers, QA, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics.
- Request, consolidate and analyze customer claim details to assist in determining claim validity and facilitating timely and accurate processing and execution.
- Research, obtain and maintain supporting documentation for reported issues to include written and verbal communication records.
- Participate in company established training programs, leadership training, continuous improvement and weekly department meetings.
- Determine category, department, account and cost center for appropriate product loss expense application.
- Develop excellent working relationships with all company business units and departments (Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Logistics, QA, Operations) and service partners as required for claims processing.
- Operate company data entry systems efficiently. Systems include QAD/Cyberquery for order entry, research, revision processing and reporting, Salesforce for product, pricing, claim records and reporting, Tracegains for product specifications, and Google platform for communication management.
- Drive continual improvement in quality, productivity, efficiency and cost.
- Ensure compliance with all appropriate regulations as well as company policies and safety regulations.
- Partner with all departments of the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- An Associate's Degree in a related field or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience is preferred.
- Ability to understand product chemistry and general manufacturing processes in order to question and respond accordingly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, understanding the nuance of placing pressure and urgency, pushing the envelope to a discussion, but not coming across as aggressive or impolite.
- Exercise collaborative skills and exhibit leadership qualities in gathering internal consensus within a cross-functional team.
- Ability to diffuse a conflicting and intense situation.
- Functions performed with Legal, Nationwide and either insurance agents representing the involved parties, coordination of withdrawal or recall information and the logistics tracking to support financial exposures.
Strong decision making skills with the ability to make a timely decision. - Experience handling claims, processing responses and ability to diffuse conflicting and intense situations in a professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Must be able to problem solve.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to adjust quickly to changing demands.
- Computer experience - Microsoft Office or Google Suite. Strong typing skills are a must.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop others.
- Must be able to work extended hours and weekends if needed.
- Candidates must successfully pass the post-offer/pre-employment drug test and background screen.
