Dietary Assistant- Med/Surg

The Dietary Assistant is responsible for the day-to-day nutrition of meals for the hospital population including visitors and guests. This includes the provision of special diets, restrictions and meals prescribed by the dietitian or therapists. Qualifications / Job Requirements:
Education / Skills Required:
* Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
* Must be able to exercise sound judgement.
* Ability to relate to peers and supervisors in a friendly and respectful manner.
* Must have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and written.
* Experience in food service and quantity cooking.
* Working knowledge of safe food handling practices.
* Ability to complete records and reports.
* Graduate of high school or equivalent.
