This includes defining how our cloud-native network management, AIOps, and analytics platforms evolve to manage complex hybrid environments, spanning data centers, branches, campus, and remote edges.

The candidate will serve as the technical authority for the product line, ensuring that our solutions are not only market-leading in features but also scalable, secure, and architecturally sound for enterprise-grade consumption.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Vision & Roadmap Execution

  • Define and drive the long-term technical architecture and vision for the xIQ Hybrid Cloud platform, ensuring alignment with the overall product roadmap and market trends (AI/ML, automation, edge computing).
  • Translate complex market requirements (network operations, security, assurance) into scalable architectural designs and technical epics.
  • Partner with Product Management to balance feature velocity with technical debt reduction and platform stability.

Architecture & Technical Leadership

  • Lead the design of high-availability, multi-tenant cloud services for network management and AIOps.
  • Define system interfaces, APIs, and data models to ensure seamless integration between on-premises controllers and cloud-native microservices.
  • Champion best practices in software architecture, including security, performance optimization, and cost efficiency in cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
  • Conduct architectural reviews and guide engineering teams through complex technical decisions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Act as the primary technical liaison between Product Management, Engineering, UX, and Marketing.
  • Partner with Sales and Systems Engineering to support complex pre-sales engagements and communicate the technical differentiators of the xIQ platform to enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate with customers and partners to understand deployment challenges and translate field feedback into architectural improvements.

Innovation & Market Awareness

  • Stay ahead of the curve in Hybrid Cloud technologies.
  • Drive innovation in automation and assurance, leveraging Telemetry and Streaming data to provide proactive insights.
  • Represent the company at industry events and with key analysts to articulate the technical superiority of the xIQ platform.
Basic Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in IT architecture, DevOps/SRE systems, or enterprise cloud platforms
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the design of high-availability, multi-tenant cloud services for network management and AIOps.
  • Experience leading architectural reviews and guiding engineering teams through complex technical decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure automation, CMDB modeling, and cloud-native architecture (Kubernetes, microservices, event buses).
  • Proficiency in designing scalable data pipelines, real-time analytics, and AI-driven recommendation engines.
  • Understanding of security, compliance, and data governance implications for Hybrid cloud platforms.
