About the role:
As a Senior Engineer - Platform Services you will provide operational input during design and implementation, ensuring new services are supportable and stable. You will ensure all Build services follow the defined best practice ITIL framework and within the defined service level agreements. You will report to the Wintel Services Supervisor and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in office and 2 remote.
Key Responsibilities:
Identity & Directory Services Engineering
Enhance, and secure the enterprise Active Directory environment (multi-domain forests, trusts, DNS, DHCP, Sites & Services, replication).
Lead Group Policy architecture, lifecycle, and governance.
Implement and maintain identity integrations across Azure AD/Entra ID, authentication protocols, PKI, and identity security controls.
Guide AD modernization, hardening, privileged access models, and tiered administration.
Windows Platform Engineering & Automation
Build, deploy, and maintain Windows Server platforms (2012-2025+), covering OS configuration, roles, patching, and performance.
Develop automation using PowerShell, DSC, and other IaC methodologies to improve consistency and reduce manual effort.
Build resilient, scalable server platform solutions that meet reliability, capacity, and lifecycle requirements.
Provide major incident escalation and deep technical troubleshooting for complex platform issues.
Endpoint Management & Compliance (SCCM/MECM, Intune)
Lead MECM/SCCM engineering for OS deployment, patching, application distribution, and compliance baselines.
Engineer automated compliance reporting and remediation in consideration of CIS, NIST, Microsoft Security Baselines, and internal policies.
Collaborate with Intune/Endpoint teams on co-management, Autopilot, device provisioning, and configuration governance.
Ensure endpoint platform solutions are secure, supportable, and optimized for largescale enterprise environments.
Ensure designed solutions comply with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, audit findings, and security standards.
Contribute to platform security posture management, vulnerability remediation, and Zero Trust-aligned improvements.
Partner with Architecture, Cloud, and Security teams to define standards, implement guardrails, and maintain technical roadmaps.
Document architectures, build guides, patterns, and runbooks for operational teams.
Qualifications:
BS or similar applicable degree or equivalent experience
4+ years of IT experience in a Global Enterprise
Be an important contributor on incident escalations and key projects.
Experience with Azure hybrid identity, virtualization, and monitoring tooling
Demonstrated ability in process management and continuous improvement.
An understanding of IT infrastructure principals, capabilities, and architecture.
Established experience with IT compliance controls.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
