Meet The Team As a Networking Account Executive within Cisco's US Networking team, you are part of a specialized group dedicated to driving the success of our industry-leading Network portfolio. Our team focuses on delivering cutting-edge technologies-including SDWAN, SDAccess, Wireless and Meraki-to transform how our customers connect, learn, and protect their businesses. We thrive on collaboration, working across a complex matrix of Account Managers, Systems Engineers, and Partners to deliver measurable business outcomes. In this role, you will be a pivotal part of the Northeast Enterprise Networking team, helping our customers simplify their operations and innovate through Cisco's evolving technology solutions. Your Impact: As the Networking Account Executive, you will be responsible for facilitating the success of Cisco sales teams by driving the adoption of Enterprise Networking, Wireless, and Digital Network Architecture technologies. Your mandate is to develop and execute strategic business plans that meet and exceed quotas while acting as a trusted consultant to both internal teams and customers across the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas regions. Strategic Opportunity Management:Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities, managing long and complex sales cycles from lead to close with a focus on winning major strategic accounts. Business Strategy & Execution:Develop and execute comprehensive business plans and sales strategies to meet and exceed assigned quotas. Consultative Leadership:Serve as a trusted mentor and consultant to sales teams, improving overall team competency and driving a solution-led sales approach. Executive & Multi-level Influence:Navigate and influence diverse stakeholders, from IT Managers and Purchasing to CxO suites, ensuring Cisco's value proposition resonates at all levels. Cross-Functional Leadership:Partner seamlessly with Account Managers, Systems Engineers, and Technical Leaders to deliver high-impact customer presentations, proposals, and demonstrations. Market Influence:Drive the adoption of Cisco's core networking technologies, including switching, routing, and network security, to solve complex customer challenges and make their lives easier. Minimum Qualifications: 5+ years of sales experience in Networking, including switching, wireless, and network security technologies. Preferred Qualifications: Enterprise Networking Sales Expertise: Consistent track record in managing and winning major strategic opportunities with the ability to work independently. Experience in multi-level selling and the ability to influence CxO-level stakeholders. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Strong listening skills and the ability to collaborate across multiple levels of an organization. Technical Sales Expert:Proven experience in technical software sales with deep knowledge of Cisco's Networking portfolio (SDWAN, SDAccess, Wireless & Meraki). Solution Architect:Demonstrated ability to apply a solution-based sales approach rather than a product-specific approach to meet customer needs. Collaborative Innovator:Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a complex matrix organization to create "win-win" outcomes for all stakeholders. Strategic Planner:Expert in developing high-level proposals and business plans that drive long-term pipeline growth and market share gains. Industry Advocate:A passion for driving strategies and staying ahead of industry trends to maintain Cisco's edge in the networking landscape. Limited Regional Travel as required. The full salary range for certain locations is listed below. For non-sales roles, employees are also eligible to earn annual bonuses subject to Cisco's policies. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components, subject to the applicable Cisco plan. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid. The applicable full salary ranges for this position, by specific state, are listed below: New York City Metro Area: $287,300.00 - $423,200.00Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $263,500.00 - $404,100.00* For quota-based sales roles on Cisco's sales plan, the ranges provided in this posting include base pay and sales target incentive compensation combined. ** Employees in Illinois, whether exempt or non-exempt, will participate in a unique time off program to meet local requirements. | |
