Job Description

Help us bridge the gap between Allstate's 90-year history and the digital future. As our Archive Intern, you won't just be filing papers; you'll be a digital preservationist and a brand storyteller. You'll work directly with our Corporate Archivist to turn "old records" into engaging digital experiences.

Archive Apprentice

Location:Schaumburg, IL (Onsite) Candidates but actively enrolled in a 2year community college and or technical program during the full duration of the apprenticeship program.

What You'll Actually Do (The Impact)

  • Curate the Vault:Get hands-on with 500+ linear feet of history-organizing and rehousing materials to ensure they're preserved for the next century.
  • Digital Transformation:Help us build a future-proof plan for "born-digital" records and massive digitization projects.
  • Content Creation:Flex your writing skills by creating posts for our internal social platforms.
  • Lead a Virtual Tour:Own the development of a virtual archive tour and curate your very own online exhibit.
