In the role of Project Manager Engineering, we'll count on you to:
Ensure that work plan, safety plan, laboratory hygiene plan and quality control procedures are followed. Serve as the competent safety person during water sampling field work activities. Prepare required documentation for water sampling events including bottle labeling, field worksheets, and chain of custody forms. Prepare written plans and reports related to field investigations and data collection activities including discharge monitoring reports, sampling plans, safety plans, and standard operating procedures. Review lab reports Perform quality control reviews of field documentation Upload discharge monitoring report data to State of Hawaii Department of Health system. Perform a monthly inventory of equipment and supplies and order/replace as needed. Develop equipment cleaning schedule and perform cleaning of sampling equipment. Monitor scope of work and scope changes. Prepare/review scopes of work and budgets/estimates for proposals and track budget and schedule status throughout the course of the project. Perform other duties required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- PMP certification
- Microsoft Access experience
- Interest in advancing digital delivery and AI-supported workflows in infrastructure projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 7 years related experience inclusive of a minimum 2 years experience in project management
- Requires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered. Example: Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license.
- MS Office and MS Project experience is required
- Demonstrated leadership skills
