Responsibilities

Join our team as a Hospital Pharmacist and play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position is ideal for pharmacists with experience in hospital pharmacy, medication management, and clinical drug therapy monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately compound, prepare, and dispense parenteral and enteral medications
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and drug utilization review
  • Monitor patient drug therapies, including drug levels, adverse drug events, and safety reporting
  • Deliver drug information and education to physicians, nurses, patients, and caregivers
  • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and support staff
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) and patient safety initiatives
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize cardiac and acute care outcomes
  • Serve in a leadership capacity in the absence of the Pharmacy Team Leader

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited School of Pharmacy
  • Current Pharmacist license (Oklahoma required)
  • BLS certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1+ year hospital pharmacy experience preferred

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, clinical therapeutics, and hospital pharmacy operations
  • Ability to interpret, assess, compound, and dispense medications safely and accurately
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) and pharmacy systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multidisciplinary healthcare team
