Finance Business Analyst, Refinish

As the Finance Business Analyst, you will support the PPG Automotive Refinish Business in the collision segment for the United States. As part of the Automotive Refinish Americas Business Finance team, you will work a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) based in our Corporate Headquarters in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. You will report to the Finance Manager for the team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be a team member in the Automotive Refinish organization by providing insightful analytics and analysis to lead operational excellence
• Partner with leaders in the Sales, Credit, Accounting, Commercial Excellence and HR teams to support needs
• Support financial analysis and reporting for end customer buying agreements (contracts)
• Analyze customer contracts and partner with internal stakeholders and external service providers
• Administer the functional aspects of the Refinish Buying Agreement system
• Help lead the customer agreement audits by working with the Senior Business Analysts and Sales Leaders
• Lead customer risk and collection processes of PPG investments, working with our third-party collection agency, PPG legal and PPG Corporate Credit teams
• Update, prepare, and share Regional Sales reports and financial reports for Senior Management
• Support accounting close and reconciliation process tasks
• Support any Automotive Refinish and Global Finance special projects
• Provide financial support and reporting to US Collision segment Zone Leaders
• Support process improvement plans and complexity reduction efforts
• Develop relationships with the sales, business and finance support teams

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field in business
• At least 2-3 years of professional experience in finance, accounting or related field required, 2-3 years of industry experience strongly preferred.
• Microsoft Office and Excel skills required, Oracle, Power BI, and SalesForce products preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of internal controls and accounting standards, financial policies and procedures, and compliance
• Flexibility to travel, visit field locations, and work with sales team members
