Nature and Scope:

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator at Avanos Medical is a vital Talent Acquisition team member responsible for efficiently managing scheduling, background, onboarding, and talent operations. We are seeking an experienced professional who excels in candidate coordination, has a keen eye for detail, and is eager to learn and grow in their career. This role primarily focuses on day-to-day recruitment execution, supporting talent acquisition partners in an administrative function, and project support.

The ideal candidate for this role is passionate, energetic, and a constant learner. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be a strategic thinker who is not afraid to bring solutions and better ways of working to the table. Candidates can expect to grow into full cycle recruiting, talent operations, human resources or other roles.

This hybrid role is based in Alpharetta, GA and requires three days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for all candidate scheduling and travel arrangements
  • Entirely responsible for pre/post-employment checks including: the coordination of drug screen paperwork, background checks, and providing regular updates to all necessary parties in a timely manner
  • Moves candidates through onboarding, including I-9 verification and first day orientation
  • Displays professionalism, quality service and a positive attitude to internal employees, as well as external candidates, clients, and vendors in all correspondence and in-person
  • Reduce recruitment turnaround time to ensure timely placement of candidates for open positions on an as needed basis through constant engagement with Talent Acquisition Partners, hiring manager and candidates
  • Manage various recruitment reports/trackers and data/spreadsheet
  • Responsible for online sourcing of candidates when applicable
  • With guidance from the Talent Acquisition lead, ensures that all hiring activities follow legal and Company standards
  • May assist with Talent Acquisition budget management, reconciling invoices and PO processing, and shipping supplies



Qualifications:



  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in an executive assistant, talent coordinator, or HR operations role. Project management experience is a plus
  • A process-oriented approach to work with strong client and candidate management skills
  • Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent verbal, written, analytical, project, research, organizational and interpersonal skills with a sharp attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, assigned Talent Acquisition Partners, as well as employees and managers at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to work independently and interact with all levels of management
  • Ability to professionally communicate to internal and external customers in a variety of styles to include email, text, and voice communications in person or digitally, to include maintaining a professional social media presence
  • Knowledge of HR processes and forms and knows organizational and departmental policies and procedures
  • An ability to effectively handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while achieving defined goals
  • An ability to understand, articulate and represent our culture and business initiatives
  • An ability to deliver excellent customer service while for both the quality and quantity of our candidates
  • Strong command of technologies including Office 365, Applicant Tracking Systems, Scheduling Tools, Onboarding Tools
  • The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
  • Experience creating and executing a wide range of recruiting initiatives
