Join JLL as a Senior Reliability Engineer and drive cutting-edge asset management strategies! You'll revolutionize how we maintain buildings and infrastructure by integrating NOC systems, energy management, and lifecycle planning while analyzing real-time data to optimize performance. Lead root cause failure analyses, conduct maturity assessments, and develop cost-effective action plans that keep critical equipment running smoothly-all while collaborating with our Engineering Services COE to deliver measurable, outcomes-based results that exceed client expectations.

On-site full-time at one of our client's facilities in NJ.

Here is some of your day:

  • Deploy strategic asset management roadmaps by integrating BAS data, fault detection systems, maintenance programs, and capital planning to develop lifecycle analyses and repair-versus-replacement recommendations
  • Execute site-level reliability programs through periodic audits focused on safety, regulatory compliance, maintenance effectiveness, cost savings, and energy conservation to increase system reliability
  • Create and optimize preventative maintenance tasks using Reliability Centered Maintenance approaches, ranking asset criticality and defining cost-beneficial proactive maintenance strategies
  • Lead root cause failure analysis investigations on equipment failures, prescribing corrective actions and monitoring follow-up effectiveness to prevent future occurrences
  • Implement condition-based maintenance programs utilizing predictive technologies including vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound, and motor current analysis for rotating equipment
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies for critical assets deployable across the portfolio while investigating new technologies for reliability improvements
  • Maintain accurate CMMS records including equipment specifications, failure history, and BOM while developing Key Performance Indicators for equipment reliability (MTBF, planned/unplanned work ratios, cost metrics)
  • Execute multi-discipline facility condition assessments across multiple locations, documenting asset conditions to evaluate remaining useful life and compile portfolio-wide findings for capital planning
  • Coordinate engineers, technicians, and third-party resources to accomplish cost-effective reliability improvements while supporting commissioning activities for upgrade and construction projects
  • Collaborate actively with Maintenance and Planning groups to ensure appropriate reliability metrics are in place and equipment history is analyzed for future trending

Here is who we are looking for:

Required

  • 10+ years implementing RCM and CbM/PdM methods with extensive knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems in commercial, manufacturing, laboratory, or distribution facilities
  • Proven experience operating building automation systems, energy management platforms, and CMMS/EAM systems with strong data analytics and capital planning capabilities
  • Critical environment expertise preferred (data centers, laboratories, manufacturing) with practical experience developing and optimizing maintenance strategies, lifecycle costing, and total cost of ownership analysis
  • Background in multi-disciplinary projects applying system integration techniques across diverse asset types, with experience implementing Management Systems (ISO9001, ISO55001)
  • Exceptional ability to analyze incomplete data sets, deliver informed recommendations, and communicate complex technical information through clear written and oral reports
  • Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency for manipulating large data sets with systematic attention to detail and advanced organizational skills to balance multiple stakeholder requirements
  • Proven training, coaching, and mentoring abilities using various tools and techniques while interpreting organizational goals into actionable departmental activities
  • Self-motivated collaborative leader with strong interpersonal skills who embraces change, develops innovative solutions, challenges the status quo, and works effectively without direct supervision

  • Certified Reliability Leader
  • Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional
  • Level 2 thermography certification
  • Level 2 vibration certification
  • Level 2 ultrasound certification
  • BS in an Engineering discipline, mechanical or electrical

Estimated compensation for this position:

140,000.00 - 160,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
