Histology Tech - Pathology

Full time, first shift, 6:00a-2:30p

Job Description:

Prepare portions of body tissue for microscopic examinations by embedding, cutting the tissue and mounting tissue on slides and staining with special dyes to make the details visible under microscope. Assist with bone marrow aspirations performed by physicians (primarily oncologists).

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Basic understanding of histological techniques and laboratory procedures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework in biology or related field preferred
