Here's what it takes to succeed with us.

• 2-5 years of production planning experience, preferably in manufacturing environments such as chemicals, coatings, plastics, or similar industries
• Technical or vocational training, or equivalent hands-on planning experience
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power BI experience is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to stay organized, structured, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments
• Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly reprioritize tasks
• Reliable, proactive, and process-driven mindset
• Willingness to work in an environment requiring PPE (dust and noise exposure)

Key Responsibilities

• Create, schedule, release, and close approximately 50 production orders daily within D365
• Plan and sequence production based on setup optimization, batch sizes, color changeovers, and operational priorities
• Maintain and adjust daily and weekly production schedules to meet delivery timelines
• Verify availability of raw materials and packaging; coordinate replenishment and transfers as needed
• Communicate material shortages proactively to prevent production delays
• Collaborate with supervisors to align schedules with manpower, equipment availability, and shift needs
• Modify production plans based on downtime, quality holds, or unexpected disruptions
• Maintain accurate master data in D365, including BOMs, routing steps, cycle times, and batch sizes
• Monitor production postings, confirmations, and support inventory accuracy efforts, such as cycle counts
• Incorporate quality checkpoints into production planning and ensure proper labeling requirements are met
• Coordinate with lab and quality teams on product releases, holds, and rework processes
• Participate in daily production meetings and communicate schedule updates, risks, and changes
• Partner cross-functionally with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams
• Approve and release production schedules while prioritizing urgent or rush orders
• Escalate material shortages, capacity constraints, and operational challenges as needed
