Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Manager for an onsite position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jacksonville, FL or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for Application Management, including monitoring, completing, and tracking compliance deliverables to ensure applications adhere to policies and standards. The ideal candidate will support engagement with infrastructure teams, developers, and compliance teams to ensure timely completion of application management activities within a large enterprise environment. Responsibilities: Complete administrative, technical, and non-technical tasks related to risk, security, and other compliance deliverables (e.g., access reviews, assessments, data governance, and procedural requirements) Track and support technical security and risk activities performed by development teams, engineering teams, or vendors Work with technology infrastructure teams to incorporate infrastructure requirements (e.g., certificate renewals, server patching, and health monitoring) Assist with audit exams and risk assessments for applications Work closely with vendors for vendor applications to ensure they meet company requirements Maintain data about the application in internal systems of record Manage application onboarding and decommissioning requirements Assist with ad hoc inquiries and questions about applications Requirements: 2+ years of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) experience Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical information to a non-technical audience Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools (such as Quality Center) Proficiency with MySQL Knowledge of Python Experience with Software Development & Architecture (e.g., Java, Python, SQL) Understanding of Database Management (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) Knowledge of Integration & API Management (REST/SOAP) Familiarity with DevOps & CI/CD Tools (Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket) Cloud Platform Experience (AWS, Azure, etc.) ITIL Framework Knowledge Experience with Project Management (Agile/Scrum methodologies) Knowledge of Incident & Change Management Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Desired skills: Business Process Improvement Data Analytics & Reporting Tools Regulatory Compliance Knowledge Experience with SaaS/PaaS/IaaS Models Cross-functional Collaboration Mentoring & Coaching Experience Pay range: $54.54 - $62.54 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
