PRIMARY PURPOSE CNA is hiring for a part-time (with benefits) Sr. Director of Contracts and Procurement. This individual will serve as the strategic lead and mentor for all corporate contracting and procurement activities, providing expert guidance and oversight. They will manage and mentor staff within the contracts and procurement functions, ensuring sustained operational excellence. Policy Development and Compliance: 8. Contract Risk Management: 9. Performance Risk Assessment: 10. Lease and License Agreement Oversight: JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree and/or certifications such as CPCM or PMP are highly desirable. 2. Experience: Minimum of 18 years in contracting and procurement, with extensive knowledge of Department of the Navy (DoN), Department of the Army (DoW), and related government contract environments. Proven experience in contracts and proposal preparation. At least 6 years progressive experience in responsible management positions. 3. Skills: Deep understanding of government multi-contract environments, FAR and supplemental regulations, and civilian agency requirements. Expertise in risk identification and management, cost/pricing techniques, and competitive proposal development. Strong leadership, management, research, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Strong change management skills with experience leading change initiatives and managing organizational transformation. Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels including the senior team. Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. 4. Other: Active Top-Secret Clearance required. 5. Remote/Hybrid Work Eligibility: This position is eligible for telecommuting or hybrid work arrangements at the discretion of the Supervisor. Employees may be required to work at CNA headquarters or other work locations resulting in changes to the scheduled telecommuting or hybrid work arrangements.
