Product Department The Product team at Vantage defines and stewards our global product platform: the customer outcomes we aim to deliver, the reference designs and standards that make delivery repeatable, and the closed-loop learning that turns each deployment into an upgrade for the next. We do this in partnership with Engineering, Delivery, Operations, Sustainability, Sales, Site Selection, and Business Development, aligning priorities and trade-offs while preserving clear functional ownership for design execution, construction delivery, and site operations.Product'srole is to create clarity, consistency, and leverage atVantagescale. Position Overview This role will be based in Denver, CO. Vantage Data Centers is seeking an undergraduate or graduate intern to help prototype an AIassisted, interactive model that explores how grid power, renewable energy, onpremise generation, and longduration energy storage can be combined into resilient, flexible energy systems for AIdriven data centers. This role focuses on conceptual system modeling and explaining systemlevel tradeoffs. Essential Job Functions Build a modular, interactive representation of energy system components (grid, renewables, onsite generation, storage) and how they can be "stacked" in different market contexts Use AI tools to help explain systemlevel tradeoffs across cost, reliability, speedtopower, and flexibility Develop scenariobased views (e.g., weak grid vs. strong grid, fast AI load ramp vs. gradual ramp) that show how different energy stacks perform conceptually Translate complex energy concepts into clear, executiveready narratives that support product and market discussions Document assumptions, limitations, and areas where more detailed engineering or simulation would be required Additional duties as assigned by management Job Requirements Comfort with systems thinking and understanding how components interact Curiosity about infrastructure and realworld constraints Interest in AI as a reasoning and decisionsupport tool STEM background preferred but not required Travel required is expected to be up to 5% but may increase over time as the business evolves Physical Demands and Special Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. We will have 2 intern cohort timeframes to choose from: June 1st, 2026 - August 7th, 2026 and June 22nd, 2026 - August 28th, 2026 We operate with No Ego and No Arrogance.
