Qualified Assumption Processor OnSite \| Carrollton, TX EntryLevel \| Mortgage Operations About the Role We are looking for a motivated and detailoriented Qualified Assumption Processor to join a collaborative mortgage operations team. This is a great opportunity for someone with mortgage experience who enjoys working with loan documents, coordinating with multiple parties, and helping move loans smoothly from application to closing. In this role, you'll play a key part in the qualified assumption process, working closely with buyers, sellers, title companies, and internal underwriting teams. What You'll Do * Guide customers through the qualified loan assumption process from start to finish * Manage and move loan files through underwriting and closing * Communicate with buyers and sellers to collect required documentation, including VA loan files * Review and update loan documents to meet underwriting requirements * Enter and submit accurate information in the loan system within required timelines * Manage title communications and coordinate directly with title companies * Support general loan processing and origination activities as needed What We're Looking For * Experience in mortgage loan processing or loan originations * Understanding of underwriting conditions and automated underwriting systems * Knowledge of Conventional, FHA, and VA loan guidelines * Encompass experience strongly preferred * UST Certification preferred * Familiarity with federal and state mortgage regulations * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Clear communicator with a customerfocused mindset * Ability to work onsite in Moorpark with flexibility for overtime or weekends when needed Skills Loan processing, loan origination, mortgage, Encompass, customer service, financial services Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
