Description We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist/Applied Scientist to develop and implement cutting-edge machine learning solutions for our travel and events platform. This role will focus on building scalable AI-driven solutions to enhance customer experience and drive business value. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems Build and optimize large-scale natural language processing solutions Create efficient data pipelines and scalable architectures for AI applications Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various teams including Travel Operations, Supplier Category Teams, and Travel Technology team to support data-driven decision making and improve business processes. Required Qualifications: Master's in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field 5+ years of experience in applied machine learning and deep learning Strong expertise in Python and ML frameworks Extensive experience with Large Language Models and transformer architectures Proven track record of deploying ML models to production Strong proficiency with AWS services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS, S3) Experience with MLOps practices and tools Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) architectures Knowledge of vector databases and semantic search Expertise in prompt engineering and fine-tuning language models Experience with containerization and microservices architecture Background in travel industry or related domains Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders We're looking for candidates who are passionate about AI innovation and have a proven track record of delivering production-ready machine learning solutions.
