Purpose of Job

Assists Hub 3 Production Engineering and Technicians with preventative maintenance activities and identify blind spots in our scheduled checks using data.

Activities and Responsibilities



  • Survey the production lines prior to the scheduled PM (preventative maintenance) shift and identify areas that need additional focus, above the normally scheduled PM checks. Expectation is to run the line parallel to operators for a minimum of half the shift as part of the survey.
  • Support Change Over activities as an additional method to survey the line.
  • Review analysis of line surveys and Down Time from QuickBase and other data sources before scheduled PM shifts.
  • Gather materials and support as needed to complete repairs in identified areas, this includes but is not limited to ordering replacement parts and tooling.
  • Assist the Production Engineers and Technicians with normally scheduled preventative maintenance items as needed, and with repairs needed as identified in PM team and EHS audits.
  • Assist production with the re-starting of lines after a PM shift is concluded, ensuring any items worked on during the PM shift are properly completed, expectation 2hrs into next shift on these days.
  • Train others on repair methods and methods for identifying the date of replacement for components as blind spots are identified.
  • Identify and support the use of Down Time outside the normal schedule to complete PM activities, for example end of week on work orders or weekends.
  • Follow up on lines the day after PM completion, identify missed issues and record the lines Cycle Times and update the record.
  • Comply with directions and instructions from supervisor and perform other tasks and responsibilities as may be required, including support of Hub 3 weekend teams.
  • Report on KPI's regularly as defined by your manager.


Education & Experience



  • This job requires a minimum of a technical diploma or associate's degree in a related field and 4 to 6 years of position-related experience; preferably 6 to 8 years of position-related experience.
  • Qualified to run all 10 Hub 3 lines.
