Job Summary:

As a key member of a Supernus marketing team, this individual will contribute to the development of marketing strategy, communications, and tactical plans for assigned brands. The role will include supportive responsibilities within assigned areas of marketing, such as Health Care Practitioner (HCP) and consumer promotion. In this role, the candidate will support execution of marketing tactics and required performance metrics. The candidate will have responsibility for coordinating promotional review committee (PRC) submissions, approval and execution of marketing materials. This individual will also provide support for field sales representatives and sales training that require assistance with sales resources and programs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Executes HCP and consumer marketing tactics across the marketing mix.
  • Understands product clinical data in how it relates to features and benefits of the brand and strategy, and tactical application to promotional and field team materials.
  • Responsible for the coordination of HCP and consumer materials submitted to PRC for review and approvals.
  • Excellent organization, tracking, and proof reading of all required PRC changes and adjustments to submitted marketing materials.
  • Assists in liaising with sales management to develop necessary marketing materials for field force, to deliver successful quarterly Plan of Action Meetings.
  • Management of inventory and shipment of all marketing materials for sales representatives, conferences, and internal sales meetings.
  • Aligns assigned tactical programs with overall brand strategy to ensure that all tactical programs deliver optimal results.
  • Monitors metrics for tactics to be completed in partnership with cross-functional colleagues.
  • Contributes to brand planning processes by identifying strengths, weaknesses, and growth opportunities.
  • Works cross-functionally to gather customer and industry insights for team feedback.
  • Assists with the maintenance and tracking of marketing expense budgets.
  • Effective management of assigned agency partners.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge & Other Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree required, Master of Business Administration a plus.
  • Two years of experience in marketing/sales, experience in the healthcare pharmaceutical industry preferred. Experience in neurology marketing or sales preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex projects with proven results.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • A strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently when appropriate.
  • Ability to comprehend and communication scientific data.
  • High level of analytical, strategic, and conceptual skills.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:



  • Travel Requirements: 25% Travel.
  • Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or carrying objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer screen, iPad, or other electronic device; and extensive reading.
  • The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.


Compensation:

At Supernus, we offer a competitive compensation package that reflects your experiences and contributions. The expected salary range for fully qualified candidates applying for this role is $100,000 to $125,000. This range is what the Company reasonably expects to offer for the position and is not reflective of the full compensation scale of the role. This range may be modified in the future. An individual's salary within the range is based on multiple factors, which may include and are not limited to education, relevant experience, knowledge, length of industry experience and organizational needs.

You also will be able to participate in a competitive benefits package, including but not limited to: health, dental, vision, paid time off, 401k company match, company paid life insurance and health and wellness benefits. The total compensation package for this position also includes other compensation elements such as stock equity awards, employee stock purchase programs and participation in our Company's discretionary annual bonus program.
