Mold Technician I

THE ROLE:

Entegris is currently seeking Mold Technician to join our team. This position will be based at our Colorado Springs, CO facility.

In this handson role, you will build and assemble mold inserts and mold base configurations used in producing chip tray and mainline products. Technicians in this job family perform skilled toolingtasks,working from blueprints, specifications, and precision instruments to ensure molds meet quality and performance standards. You'll collaborate with engineers and experienced tooling staff to support reliable, highaccuracy manufacturing operations

HOURS FOR THIS POSITION ARE 11PM-7:30AM MONDAY-FRIDAY

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Build tool insert configurations and set up mold bases
• Disassemble, clean, and maintainplastic injectionmoldsand inserts
• Interpret technical drawings and blueprints with accuracy
• Utilize SAP for tracking, documentation, and workflow management
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Operate a variety of hand tools, including calipers, air impact wrenches, microscopes, and other precision instruments
• Perform Level 1 Preventive Maintenance (PM) on mold bases and inserts
• Safely operate overhead cranes for mold handling and setup
• Follow the build schedule to meet production timelines and quality standards
• Understand and follow the Bill of Materials (BOM) for accurate assembly and configuration
• Communicate effectively with cell team members and tool room support staff to ensure smooth operations

• Support production goals by completing additional tasks as assigned
• Other duties as assigned to support business goals and objectives

WHAT WE SEEK:

• High school degree or equivalentrequired
• Some related experience preferred
• Basicknowledge of methods and practices
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality tooling that supports consistent, reliable manufacturing outcomes
• Competence in interpreting engineering drawings, diagrams, and specifications to ensure molds are built accurately and to required tolerances
• Works well independently and with a group on collaborative projects
• The willingnessto work occasional overtime or weekends as needed to support business demandsif needed
• Ability to use measuring devices, hand tools and power tools

• Compensation: $21-$25 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
• $3000 Sign on Bonus (pre-tax)
• $1.50 Shift Differential
