Moog's Santa Barbara Operationsprovides sub-systems and components for every mission critical system on a modern military vehicle. Our heritage is in electrohydraulic and electromechanical actuation systems and now, through acquisitions and internal development, Moog provides expert solutions in:

  • Stabilized Turret Drive Systems Integrated WeaponSystems (full turret from mechanical design to fire control electronics and software)

  • Data Control and Distribution

  • Power Management and Distribution

We are looking for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk for an onsite position at our Santa Barbara/Goleta location. The role of the Shipping & Receiving Clerk is a challenging position for someone keen to performing all duties associated with management of finished goods inventory. Here's what you'll be working on day to day:

  • Assemble orders and prepare goods for shipment.

  • Receive, unpack, inspect and store incoming materials and supplies.

  • Assemble wooden or cardboard containers.

  • Ensure correct delivery and shipment of materials.

  • Route items to appropriate departments.

  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.

  • Provide support services to complete technical work focusing on daily plant operations.

Here's what you'll bring with you...

  • High school diploma, G.E.D.

  • 3 years of experience in a Shipping/Receiving environment.

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds at a time (not exceeding 50 lbs.) and able to be on your feet for long periods of time.

  • Ability to accurately sort, count, and verify items received.

  • Basic understanding of dock and warehouse procedures.

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data and create reports.

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
