Aquent is partnering with a renowned gaming studio dedicated to upholding and expanding the legacy of a historic real-time strategy franchise. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join this team and significantly impact the studio's daily production and workflow across diverse projects. As a key contributor, you will directly influence the quality and outcomes of feature development, publishing efforts, and critical partnerships. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the future of this beloved franchise, collaborating with internal and external teams to bring innovative ideas to life and ensure a seamless development pipeline. What You'll Do:



  • Identify, communicate, track, and report on individual tasks and work items, ensuring clarity and progress.
  • Coordinate across multiple teams to deliver high-quality features, content, events, testing, localization, product extensions, and user engagement initiatives on schedule.
  • Review and provide informed feedback on development schedules and roadmaps, contributing to strategic planning.
  • Collaborate proactively with internal and external teams to remove blockers and ensure smooth pathways toward product development and release goals.
  • Communicate status updates on critical work items to key stakeholders regularly, maintaining transparency.
  • Actively unblock workflows by leveraging existing solutions and/or implementing new tools or processes to optimize efficiency.
  • Provide flexible assistance and support to other Producers as needed, fostering a collaborative environment.


Required Skills & Experience:



  • 5+ years of experience in Project Management within PC and/or Console video game development.
  • At least two (2) shipped games on PC or Console with a verifiable Producer role credit.
  • Proactive team member capable of identifying gaps and product needs without prompting.
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills essential for documenting plans and empowering others to achieve their goals.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills.
  • A constant drive to learn and adapt to ever-changing surroundings and gaming trends.
  • Passion for and deep understanding of gaming and gaming culture.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work flexing hours as project demands.
  • Experience working in a distributed team environment and comfortable providing remote team support.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard project management and collaboration tools.


Nice-to-Have Qualifications:



  • First-hand knowledge of historic real-time strategy franchises.
  • Experience with Games-as-a-Service models and operating live products.
  • Strong PC technical knowledge and extensive PC gaming experience.
  • Scrum Certification as a Scrum Master or Product Owner.
  • Familiarity with C#, C++, or other programming languages and basic engineering concepts.
  • Ability to provide additional perspective to teams to help improve the overall franchise.
