Job Description

Visa's Global Technology Talent Acquisition team is focused on delivering bestinclass sourcing strategies and services to our Technology organization. Technology at Visa is a strategic growth pillar-solving massive, complex technical problems at significant scale.

We are seeking a Consultant, Talent Acquisition Sourcing (Technology) to help build and scale a more specialized, highimpact sourcing capability focused on niche and Director+ pipelines. This work requires a whiteglove, hightouch approach across proactive/passive sourcing, talent mapping, and stakeholder partnership.

As a Consultant Sourcer, you will operate as a senior strategic partner to recruiters and hiring teams-driving market intelligence, building sustainable pipelines, and improving sourcing outcomes through mentoring, operational excellence, and project leadership. This role will also contribute to building a small executivelite sourcing function for D+ roles that represent significant hiring volume and serve as a feeder into the future VP pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sourcing & Talent Mapping

  • Design and execute proactive sourcing strategies for niche and Director+ technical roles, including passive engagement and white glove candidate management.
  • Build talent maps and competitive intelligence for priority orgs/teams, translating insights into pipeline strategy and quarterly sourcing plans.
  • Generate inclusive slates through intentional outreach and integrated inclusive sourcing strategies.

Stakeholder Partnership & Influence

  • Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to clarify role requirements, define success profiles, and align-on sourcing strategy, funnel health, and prioritization.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor by sharing talent market trends, availability insights, and compensation/leveling considerations to inform hiring decisions.
  • Provide exceptional hiring manager and candidate experiences through timely communication, consultative guidance, and disciplined followthrough.

Advanced Sourcing Execution

  • Identify and engage candidates using creative sourcing methods beyond LinkedIn Recruiter, including Boolean/Xray searching, Git/portfolio sourcing, events, networking, competitive mapping, referrals, and targeted communities.
  • Screen and qualify candidates, assess technical alignment, leadership scope, and role fit while partnering closely with recruiters on candidate strategy.

Mentoring & Capability Building

  • Mentor and coach sourcers and recruiting partners on advanced sourcing techniques, candidate engagement, inclusive slate strategy, and market mapping practices.
  • Contribute to playbooks, training assets, and bestpractice sharing to lift team capability and improve pipeline quality across the broader TA org.

Project Management & Operational Excellence

  • Own and deliver a consistent cadence of global Tech TA pipeline updates for niche and Director+ (D+) technical roles, synthesizing insights across req health, pipeline quality, and sourcing activity to drive decisions and prioritization.
  • Lead sourcing projects and continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., pipeline build sprints, talent mapping programs, market/competitive intel deliverables, process and tooling enhancements).
  • Track sourcing KPIs, diagnose funnel gaps, and recommend operational improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and candidate experience.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in ATS/CRM systems and ensure compliance with all policies and data privacy requirements.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD2+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
  • 8+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 5 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree.
  • 8+ years of recruiting/sourcing experience in a search firm and/or inhouse TA environment, technology sourcing experience strongly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of sourcing methodologies and tools (Boolean, Xray, market mapping, competitive intelligence, passive outreach).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence hiring partners using data, market insights, and consultative stakeholder management.
  • Strong mentoring/coaching capability and a track record of elevating team practices. Strong project management skills: ability to scope work, manage milestones, communicate status, and drive outcomes in fastpaced environments.
  • Experience sourcing at scale via events, continuous pipelining, and niche justintime sourcing. Early adoption and productive use of GenAI tools in Talent Acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problemsolving skills, able to operate autonomously with high attention to detail.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for this position is 116,300.00 to 186,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
