ABOUT THE JOB

We're seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Information Administrator to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate data collection, organization, and reporting to support plant operations and decision-making. You will manage data systems, validate information quality, and work closely with multiple departments to maintain operational integrity and compliance.


Job Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL GET TO DO


As an Information Administrator at Cemex, your daily responsibilities will include:



  • Data Management: Collect, input, organize, and analyze operational data for reporting purposes.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, reliability, timeliness, and consistency across all platforms.
  • System Support: Administer and monitor databases, ensuring backup and secure storage of critical information.
  • Collaboration: Maintain strong working relationships with Plant Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Analysts, and other key stakeholders.
  • Reporting: Generate timely, clear, and actionable reports including materials consumption, energy use, production data, and inventory.
  • Compliance & Safety: Adhere to all Cemex, OSHA, and MSHA safety regulations and company standards at all times.
  • Support Systems: Provide system support for AVEVA PI and coordinate with internal teams on procurement tickets, PI server incidents, and inventory adjustments.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality protocols in managing and sharing operational information.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend improvements to data systems, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

Educational and Licensing Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.

Experience: At least 1 year in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.

Skills:



  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, and PC-based applications.
  • Experience managing and maintaining databases.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.


Working Conditions

  • Dynamic Environment: You'll be working in various conditions, including exposure to extreme temperatures, high noise levels, and outdoor environments.
