Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Mobile Developer (iOS/Android) for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week required) located in Addison, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity with our client, a global financial institution.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and prototype Android and iOS customer applications for mobile phones and tablets for internal and external use
• Participate in the full app life-cycle: develop automation scripts, test, and release to the app store
• Work with product teams on new product ideas, designs, prototypes, and estimates
• Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms
• Drive a best practices approach to the continuous improvement of our products, processes, and tools
• Write and maintain documentation for all features in development
• Collaborate with the design team to define app features
• Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications
• Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks
• Fix application bugs before the final release
• Publish application on the App Store
• Maintain the code and atomization of the application

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering
• 5-7 years of experience in mobile application development
• Experience on Android or iOS Platforms - Development using Kotlin and/or Java
• Development experience in Core Java
• Experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium
• Proficient in Objective-C, Swift, and Swift UI
• Extensive knowledge of XCode
• Proficient in Kotlin, Objective-C, Web Services, Rest Services, Core Java, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, XML
• Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket
• Knowledge of C-based libraries
• Familiarity with Biometrics, push notifications, and usage of Camera APIs

Desired skills:

• Mobile Test Automation with Appium is good to have - Android and iOS platform
• Experience with continuous integration and unit tests
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong focus on troubleshooting and issue resolution

Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
