Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
NRI Staffing is seeking a reliable, skilled Maintenance Technician to support daily building operations and provide in-unit service to residents. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong general maintenance experience who can work independently.
Position Overview
This role will be the sole maintenance professional on-site, responsible for handling a wide range of repairs and preventative maintenance throughout the building and individual units. The ideal candidate is personable, self-sufficient, and experienced in residential maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general maintenance, repairs, and unit service requests
* Handle plumbing issues including leaks, faucet repairs, and fixture replacements
* Complete light electrical work such as replacing outlets, switches, and fixtures
* Conduct drywall repairs, painting, and general upkeep
* Maintain and repair doors, closets, and window screens
* Diagnose and resolve issues related to convectors, boilers, and chillers
* Address and troubleshoot water leaks and related issues
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents
Unit Maintenance Tasks Include
Kitchen:
* Faucet replacement and leak repairs (traps, joints, gaskets)
* Light bulb and appliance light replacements
* Cabinet and drawer adjustments/repairs
* GFCI outlet replacement
Bathrooms:
* Toilet repairs (running water, flushing issues, replacements)
* Faucet, shower head, and tub spout repairs/replacements
* Caulking sinks and bathtubs
* Leak repairs under sinks
* Fixture replacements (towel bars, curtain rods, toilet seats, etc.)
Doors & Interior Repairs:
* Closet, bi-fold, and interior door repairs and adjustments
* Track repairs, shaving doors for proper fit, hardware replacement
Miscellaneous:
* Light fixture and switch replacements
* Window screen repair and track cleaning
* Door hardware repairs (locks, closers, sweeps)
* Hanging fixtures (mirrors, pictures as appropriate)
