AMSOIL is currently seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager



The Strategic Sourcing Manager oversees endtoend sourcing and procurement for Packaging, Base Oils, and Additives, ensuring accurate ordering, ontime delivery, and strong supplier performance. This role blends daily purchasing execution with longterm category strategy, cost management, and contract governance, following ISM and CIPS best practices. You'll lead strategic sourcing initiatives that support manufacturing continuity, product quality, and margin performance while managing and developing a strong strategic sourcing team.



Key Responsibilities



  • Manage daily purchasing and ensure supply continuity
  • Lead category strategy, cost optimization, and contract governance
  • Build and manage supplier relationships; drive performance and negotiations
  • Identify and mitigate supply risks
  • Coach and develop a small procurement team



Qualifications



  • Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills
  • Manufacturing or chemicals industry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with ISM or CIPS methodologies a plus
  • Leadership experience required
