Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Pomona, CA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Assistant Production Coordinator supports the manufacturing team by preparing and distributing production documentation, coordinating material transfers, and ensuring accurate updates to schedules and bills of materials.
  • Administers and maintains the documentation and provides parts of it upon request.
  • Ensures correct versioning and revisioning by suitable methods.
  • Assigns and manages document numbers.
  • Manages, distributes, and documents feedback.
  • Selects from among clear choices based upon defined procedures and practices, to address changing work situations appropriately.
  • Unexpected situations, however, typically need technical assistance or authorization.
  • Positions are expected to cope effectively with multiple-choice situations in several assigned processes and routines.
  • Thinking is about applying or even adapting the "right" procedure to a process or an issue arising.
  • Deliver full range service in a defined and focused technical or administrative area of work, while clear input/output relations and generic and V guidelines, procedures are given or available.
  • Positions need a basic level of theoretical and practical know-how.
  • Incumbents may handle routine and non-complex practical enquiries and procedures from internal customers.
  • Deliver a limited range of practical, technical, operative and clerical processes within an area of work.
  • Knowledge of standardized work routines and methods, general facts, and information is necessary, usually acquired through training on the job.
  • Position operates with a dedicated, limited range of user interfaces or functionalities in standardized software programs, strictly related to their specific processes.
  • Print engineering drawings and schematics from Teamcenter
  • Print Bills of Materials (BOMs) from SAP
  • Generate labels through Brady printers with data pulled from engineering drawings for wiring jobs
  • Create customer order-specific packets with documents listed above
  • Issue packets to the shop floor
  • Generate a list of work orders physically issued daily on Microsoft Teams
  • Attend daily production meetings
  • Create Transfer Orders for materials
  • Update bills of material in SAP and reprint drawings and schematics for engineering design errors
  • Update and print schedules for production
  • Coordinates with planning to align production plans
  • Communicates effectively with cross-functional teams (e.g., purchasing, production, engineering, logistics, customer service).

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.

  • Be able to make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
  • Be able to stoop, bend, and squat.
  • Job involves typically working indoors, occasionally lifting heavy paper, wearing common safety equipment (e.g. cut-resistant gloves and sleeves, safety shoes, safety glasses, earplugs, etc.), being exposed to loud noises, and the possibility of bumps, cuts, scrapes, and strains.
