This role sits at the heart of our product development lifecycle-working closely with R&D, Quality, and cross-functional teams to test, validate, and continuously improve the products behind some of our most trusted brands. Your work will directly support innovation, speed-to-market, and product integrity.

If you enjoy solving technical problems, working hands-on with testing equipment, and turning data into actionable insights, this could be the opportunity for you.

What you'll do

Develop and Execute Product Testing

  • Conduct detailed mechanical and functional testing, analyze results, and produce clear, actionable reports.

  • Continuously improve testing methods to ensure reliability and repeatability.

  • Communicate findings to internal stakeholders and external partners, tailoring the level of technical detail as needed.

Ensure Product Compliance

  • Support product compliance with international, regional, and national safety standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI).

  • Interpret testing, validation, and regulatory requirements, including environmental and sustainability considerations.

  • Partner with compliance and legal teams to stay aligned with evolving regulations and standards.

Support Quality and Root Cause Analysis

  • Provide test-based evidence for quality investigations and root cause analysis.

  • Assist in corrective and preventative actions related to product performance.

  • Respond to quality concerns from the marketplace and adapt testing setups when needed.

Maintain Testing Infrastructure

  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment, jigs, and tools to ensure consistent performance.

  • Collaborate with tooling teams to design and develop new test fixtures and setups.

  • Manage inventory of testing consumables and coordinate purchasing needs.

Collaborate Across Teams

  • Partner with R&D, Quality, Sourcing, and Business Area teams throughout the product development lifecycle.

  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability, performance, and compliance.

  • Act as a technical bridge across teams to support effective decision-making.

Promote Lab Safety

  • Ensure testing activities follow safety protocols and risk assessments.

  • Promote a safe testing environment and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field.

  • 3+ years of experience in product testing, engineering, or a related technical role.

  • Experience supporting new product development in partnership with R&D teams.

  • Strong knowledge of mechanical testing methods and tools.

  • Familiarity with product compliance and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI).

  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
