Your role in our success:

The Cyber Security Analyst I is responsible for supporting the protection of the corporation's information systems and data by monitoring security tools, identifying potential threats, and assisting in the investigation and response to cybersecurity events. This role supports the implementation and operation of cybersecurity
controls and works with senior analysts and engineering teams to help maintain the security of enterprise systems and networks.

Through continuous monitoring of security platforms and alerts, the Cyber Security Analyst I assists in the detection, analysis, and escalation of potential security incidents. The analyst will support vulnerability management activities, assist in the investigation of suspicious activity, and help document findings and
remediation efforts. This position will participate in incident response activities under the guidance of senior cybersecurity staff,
assist with basic forensic data collection and support recovery efforts following cybersecurity events.

The Cyber Security Analyst I will also assist with security assessments, documentation, and compliance-related activities. In addition, the analyst will work with other members of the IT and cybersecurity teams to help implement security controls, provide technical support related to security tools, and contribute to maintaining a secure operating environment.

What you'll be working on:



  • Administer and support security information and event management, log event correlation, antivirus, intrusion detection and correlate data from intrusion detection and prevention systems with data from other sources such as firewall, web server, and DNS logs.
  • Maintain compliance for those servers and appliances that exist in a regulated environment.
  • Develop and produce reports on all activities and incidents to help maintain day to day status,
  • Develop and report on trends and provide focus and situational awareness on all issues.
  • Maintain documentation for all systems and create user guides.
  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of the WAN/LAN technologies, Windows Active Directory,
  • Exchange, Azure, EDR technologies and various cyber security tools.
  • Experience with enterprise change management and test procedures.
  • Experience managing security appliances and/or security monitoring software.
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with customers and organizational skills are required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated strength in providing strong customer service support.


Who you are:



  • Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or other closely related IT discipline OR 5 years of relevant work experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Must hold one of the following certifications: Security+, CySA, CEH, GCIH or GSEC
  • Valid Driver's License
