Lab Technician - North Aurora, IL.

We have an opportunity for a Lab Technician to join our North Aurora, IL. team. You will work with our technical team to develop test methods, set up, and conduct new product performance tests.

You will:

  • Set up, troubleshoot, and optimize a variety of testing solutions.
  • Assist engineers with troubleshooting system failures and determining root cause
  • Evaluate and propose improvements for lab testing.
  • Fabricate advanced test fixtures and tools with precision.
  • Independently maintain lab facilities, equipment, and documentation.
  • Mentor and guide less experienced technicians.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the lab.
  • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory requirements.

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in a lab environment.
  • Proficient in product testing and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced instrumentation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements.
  • Electrical and Hydraulic experience is a plus but not required.

Shift/Hours:

  • 5:30am - 2:00pm Monday - Friday

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $26.50/hr. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
