Hourly Rate: $18.00-$20.00/hour
Status: Full-Time

Heritage Behavioral Health Center is currently seeking Administrative Assistants to join our team of dedicated support professionals. These full-time positions are available immediately and play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of a dynamic, community-based behavioral health organization.

The ideal candidate is flexible, proactive, and solution-focused-someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, asks thoughtful questions, and refuses to settle for "routine." We are looking for individuals who think critically, listen actively, and work collaboratively to reduce barriers and improve service delivery for those we serve.

Positions are available in multiple administrative areas, including Reception, Billing, and Scheduling.

Core Responsibilities
  • Accurate data entry across multiple systems
  • Customer service in person and by phone
  • Detailed review and analysis of data to support accurate billing of services
  • Scheduling appointments for clients and providers
  • Preparing and managing routine correspondence as needed
  • Supporting efficient administrative workflows in a behavioral health setting
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven excellence in customer service for both internal and external customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational and time management abilities
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within established timeframes
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders
  • Unquestionable personal and professional integrity
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Valid Illinois Driver's License, reliable transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance
