Design what moves the future. Advantage Technical is hiring a Mechatronics Engineer / Mechanical Engineer to develop next-generation motion control systems. What You'll Do Design and develop electro-mechanical systems including actuators, motors, gears, sensors, and controllers Create detailed SolidWorks CAD models and drawings, including GD&T and manufacturing documentation Test, troubleshoot, and validate system performance using amplifiers, controllers, and lab equipment Develop test procedures, assembly instructions, and technical reports Partner with manufacturing and purchasing to source components and build BOMs in ERP systems Support product development from concept through production for complex assemblies Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives Manage multiple engineering projects while collaborating across teams What You Bring Bachelor's degree in Engineering required 4-8 years of experience in electro-mechanical product design and development Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (certification a plus) and GD&T Experience integrating mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters) Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills Experience with servo drives, robotics, or automation systems is a plus Knowledge of EtherCAT, CANopen, Python, LabVIEW, or PCB design is a plus Why This Position Direct hire position Start on our client's payroll - DAY 1 A full list of benefits will be provided to you upon hire No fees to you for partnering with Staffmark Work on cutting-edge motion control, robotics, and automation technologies Collaborative, innovation-driven engineering environment Take the next step in your engineering career and help design advanced electro-mechanical systems that power tomorrow's technology.
