About the Role

We're looking for a client focused and critical thinking minded professional to join our team as Sr. Associate, Truck & Upfit. In this role, you will play a critical part in engineering top-notch products and services in a unique industry and at a rapidly growing organization. You will manage a portfolio of clients while ensuring efficient solutions to urgent needs. You will collaborate across the business to secure units, negotiate costs, and deliver cost-effective solutions aligned with client needs.

What You'll Do

  • Consults with clients about policy, purchasing authority, and alternatives to out of stock ordering through comparison of financial benefits and costs of each choice.
  • Provide vehicle pricing and specifications to customers and Commercial team.
  • Locate vehicles, negotiate, and advise regarding pricing and inventory trends to Commercial team and customers where appropriate.
  • Facilitation of specifications, quotes, orders, assignments, deliveries, invoice payments, and status reporting.
  • Informs clients regarding availability of vehicles and specifications and works to identify best options.
  • Communicates status to clients within agreed timeframes and provides follow-up throughout the purchasing process.
  • Negotiates pricing including motor company incentives and delivery arrangements within preferred dealer network.
  • Purchases vehicles with client approval and arranges payment.
  • Manages surplus vehicle inventory to minimize financial impact and places orders via OEM and technology applications.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1-5 years business experience with client contact preferred.
  • Ability to manage a portfolio of approximately 100 clients.
  • Experience analyzing data and making informed decisions.
  • Ability to negotiate costs and deliver cost-efficient solutions.
  • Strong communication and follow-through skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree preferred in business or related field (or equivalent business experience).
  • Experience in medium heavy truck and upfitting knowledge.
  • Experience working with dealer networks and vehicle procurement.
  • Familiarity with OEM and technology applications.

Location

Current Location: Hopkins, MN

The hiring base salary range for this position is $23.61/hour to $32.47/hour. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
