Administrative Analyst III

Work Location: Washington, DC

Kwaan Tech is seeking highly qualified administrative professionals to join our team in support of the Department of State.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at: $80,000 - $85,000.

The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, as well as 401K with company match. This job will be posted until filled or withdrawn.

Core Duties:



  • Efficiently transfers application data into the ASIV unit's web-based case management system, including accurately transcribing names, application dates, and employment information for adjudication by unit case workers, achieving a processing rate of at least 25 cases per day
  • Identifies data entry errors and discrepancies; recommends corrections and takes remedial action when possible
  • Analyzes applications for evidence of previous participation in the SIV program, or previous denial from participation and flags such prior participation and reasons for denial
  • Compares application data with ASIV unit's established fraud indicators, flagging relevant cases for further review to prevent the approval of fraudulent applications
  • Uses Microsoft Outlook to monitor a shared office inbox, appropriately flagging messages for further action by ASIV unit personnel. Using Microsoft Office and Adobe, converts documents and emails to .pdf format as needed and uploads them to Department databases
  • Generates correspondence and notification letters, and then uploads them to Department databases for transmission
  • Assists with the on-boarding procedures for new and/or temporary project employees
  • Assists with unit procurement needs
  • Assists with time and attendance for unit personnel
  • Finds ways to successfully streamlined processes for a more efficient program office
  • Performs other duties as assigned
