As a Security Officer Patrol Associate in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting events as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report maintenance, access, and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when appropriate, and support screening procedures in accordance with location policies.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or emergency responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and baton is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
