As a Security Officer Gated Community in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier residential location where you will monitor entry points, verify guests and/or deliveries, and support smooth access for residents, visitors, and staff. In this access control role, you will remain visible, help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver standout customer service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and a caring, reliable approach.

Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor credentials and/or resident authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of post procedures.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related activity and communicating relevant information to management and/or local authorities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property, common areas, and perimeter, noting unusual activity, property concerns, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
