Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a corporate technology location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office spaces, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support security-related policies.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorizations, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, or policy violations through proper channels.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, maintaining post records, and assisting with directions, escorts, and other customer service needs as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
