As a Security Officer Patrol Cyclist in West Hollywood, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic public-serving location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a public-facing location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe visitor and employee activity, and communicate clearly with the public regarding site rules, directions, and/or security-related matters.
• Support day-to-day operations by completing incident reports, maintaining a visible presence throughout the location, and assisting with security-related requests from site leadership and/or local responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Able to ride a bike.
• The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
