This is a twelve (12) week internship program starting in May 2026. You must be enrolled in college during the program

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ideal candidate expectations, roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Essential duties:

    • The Supply Chain Procurement & Material Management Department has a summer internship position available at Energy Transfer's Houston office.
    • The main objective for the intern is to become familiar with the natural gas industry, gaining experience in Supply Chain processes, language, purchase orders, inventory management and other supply chain activities.
    • Responsibilities include learning the sourcing processes and requirements for projects, inventory care & custody processes and other supply chain areas as time allows.

Required Skills (External)

Preferred qualifications:

    • Self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies, above average GPA and willingness to travel.
    • The selections will be of those interested in supply chain business processes and the energy industry, and should be at a minimum completion of Sophomore level related courses.
    • Preferably junior status as of Fall 2026
    • Strong computer and advanced Excel and Word skills preferred
    • Must possess a strong willingness to learn
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Must be able to adapt well to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities
    • Ability to organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment
    • Must be a team player, and able to work effectively with a diverse workforce and with various levels within the organization
