Global Furniture Group has an immediate career opportunity for a Purchasing and Procurement Specialist in theMarlton NJ Area. In this role, you will assist with overseeing the integrity of customer purchase orders with suppliers/vendors as well as act as the liaison between our external and internal customer care teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review backorder reports by following up with each vendor for recovery dates for reassignment.
  • Review Reassignment reports by cross checking the items that have been scanned into our consolidation facility.
  • Process Production Delay Notifications (PDN's) from our vendors to our end users and internal customer care team members.
  • Assist with Evolve load reports and purchase order processing.
  • Act as the liaison between internal customer care and the factory on purchase order date movement requests.
  • Assist Distribution Centers / Accounting/ Vendors with AS400 maintenance and troubleshooting so the purchase orders are correct and accurate.

Education/Experience

  • Associate degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
  • 2 to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • AS400 experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Actual base pay offered will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Global, an individual may not be hired at the high end of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each potion and candidate. (If a bonus or commissions see below for additional sentence).
