Job Description

Shift: Morning
Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8 AM to 4 PM
Pay Rate: $30.00



Position Overview
The Parts Crib Technician manages maintenance spare parts and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Operational Supplies) inventory to support reliable plant operations. This role owns spare parts data and material processes in the Work Order System (Eptura), ensuring accurate inventory, cost control, and part availability.

The position oversees requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, inventorying, and kitting of spare parts, while partnering with Maintenance, Engineering, Purchasing, and OEMs to reduce downtime, address obsolescence, improve lead times, and drive continuous improvement through standard work, and manage the part crib.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
* Order, receive, inspect, label, and inventory MRO spare parts to support PMs, corrective maintenance, and projects.
* Administer the Work Order System (Eptura), maintaining accurate part data, BOMs, locations, min/max levels, and costs.
* Set and adjust inventory levels based on usage, lead time, equipment criticality, and operational risk
* Maintain part pricing, supplier data, and cost accuracy; create and manage requisitions per purchasing policies.
* Kit and stage parts for PMs and work orders to support planned maintenance and reduce downtime
* Perform cycle counts and audits; resolve discrepancies to meet inventory accuracy targets.
* Source primary, alternate, and retrofit parts; work with suppliers and OEMs to address obsolescence, reduce lead time, and lower cost.
* Develop and maintain standard work and processes for spare parts, storeroom operations, and Eptura.
* Support maintenance planning, reliability initiatives (critical spares, BOMs), and cross-functional collaboration.
* Maintain a safe, organized storeroom (5S) and comply with all safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
* Participate in interdepartmental training, and sealed air required trainings
* Assist with Maintenance supervisor and Training coordinator on training schedules and training matrix.
* Assist with workorder back log
* Other maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required:



  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Technical coursework or an associate degree in Maintenance, Supply Chain, Industrial Technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in MRO inventory management, maintenance storeroom, purchasing, or related manufacturing support role. Experience working with a CMMS, preferably Eptura or similar work order and asset management systems, or other applicable experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic spare parts.
  • Ability to read equipment manuals, parts lists, and basic technical drawings.
  • Proficient in CMMS systems, Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word), and basic data analysis.



Other Requirements:



  • Ability to lift and move parts up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and occasionally support off-shift needs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
