Marketing Intern

Street Smart is seeking a motivated, growth-oriented individual to join our team as a Marketing Intern at our Columbus, Minnesota location (just 30 minutes north of Minneapolis-St. Paul). This role offers hands-on experience across a variety of marketing initiatives and is ideal for someone eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Requirements Include

• Location: Must reside in Minnesota (some on-site work required, average 1-2 days per week).
• Hours: Part-time - Hybrid, approximately 10-20 hours per week.
• Schedule: Flexible, to be determined. This position is designed to extend beyond Summer 2026 as an ongoing intern opportunity, based on performance and mutual fit. There is no pre-determined end date.
• Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required)
• Experience: Previous coursework, internships, or personal projects related to marketing or content creation are a plus

What You Will Do

• Create marketing materials for security partners, including flyers, imagery, and social media graphics.
• Support social media initiatives by designing graphics, writing copy, and scheduling posts.
• Help maintain and update website content as needed.
• Assist the Marketing Manager with completing monthly expense reports.
• Manage marketing material orders for the sales team and coordinate shipping to shop locations.
• Assist with planning and logistics for tradeshows and events.
• Develop sales enablement materials, including presentation decks and marketing flyers.
• Take on additional marketing-related tasks and projects as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

• A creative and motivated individual with a strong interest in marketing, social media, and content creation.
• Someone who enjoys both the creative and organizational sides of marketing.
• A detail-oriented team player who can manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfort with graphic design and/or video editing tools (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
