In accordance with applicable Federal and State laws, the anticipated annual salary range for this position are as follows.

  • New York City, NY: $200,000 to $200,000

In addition to a standard benefits package, this role may be eligible for additional contingent compensation based on an array of factors, including but not limited to: work performance, geographic location, work experience, education, and qualifications. Because such contingent compensation is not yet calculable or may be zero ($0) in some circumstances, the above-listed salary range(s) are Nixon Peabody's good faith estimate of the annual salar(ies) it reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of this posting.

Job Requirements:

The Cooperatives & Condominiums team is seeking an experienced department attorney to oversee contracts and closings for our cooperative and condominium projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced environment negotiating contracts and overseeing closings for both market-rate and affordable cooperatives and condominiums. Applicants should be detail oriented, organized, possess strong drafting and negotiating skills, familiarity with closing statements, escrow responsibilities, and have experience with cooperative and condominium projects. Supervisory experience is also preferred as this attorney will assist non-attorney staff on tasks related to contracts and closings.
