Overview LMI is seeking a Principal, Growth Operations to lead and drive the strategic growth of SPECTR in the U.S. Army, as well as spearhead other growth initiatives across federal markets. This senior role combines program management expertise, business development acumen, and operational excellence to shape strategies, deliver at scale, and expand LMI's impact within the Department of Defense (DoD) and beyond LMI is a new breed of digital solutions provider dedicated to accelerating government impact with innovation and speed. Responsibilities - Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy and associated pipeline for NADACS/SPECTR in the U.S. Army from initial engagement to enterprise scale delivery. - Leverage internal and external resources to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities across defense markets including emerging opportunities within the Army acquisition system, T2COM, and FCC. - Act as the overall solution architect for business development opportunities, integrating capabilities across LMI to deliver differentiated solutions tailored to client needs. - Drive the expansion of logistics and digital technology solutions aligned to the mission requirements of the Army and other DoD clients. - Support bid and proposal efforts by creating outcome-driven solutions that exceed customer expectations. Program and Portfolio Management - Manage costs, schedules, risks, and delivery milestones for NADACS/SPECTR and Army-focused contracts, ensuring performance aligns with client requirements and corporate financial targets. - Establish best practices and scalable methodologies for program and project management across LMI's portfolio, integrating these standards into government engagements. - Build and maintain project plans, roadmaps, and stakeholder engagement strategies to ensure timely execution and delivery of high-quality deliverables. - Maintain a risk register and identify mitigation strategies to overcome technical and bureaucratic challenges. Operational Excellence and Team Leadership - Lead cross-functional teams, including hardware/software engineers, researchers/designers, cybersecurity experts, and supply chain professionals, in executing delivery at scale. - Foster a team operating tempo focused on delivering innovative, high-quality solutions that drive client success. - Coach and manage individual team members to promote unified effort and professional growth while achieving delivery objectives. - Establish formalized program quality control standards, audit methodologies, and tracking systems to ensure consistent performance and compliance with contract requirements. Stakeholder Engagement and Customer Success - Actively engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior Army staff, functional SMEs, legacy system owners, and end users, to ensure solutions meet operational needs. - Write technical white papers, lead customer workshops, and serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders. - Build relationships with industry partners and peer service lines to enable sustained growth and collaboration. - Serve as the bridge between customer requirements and product development teams to ensure successful translation of needs into actionable deliverables. Qualifications - Education: Bachelor's degree in business management, information technology, systems engineering, or a related field. - Experience: - Experience supporting field deployments in austere or expeditionary conditions a plus. - Certifications: PMP preferred; familiarity with DoD or secure operational environments highly desirable. - Skills: - Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. - Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills with an emphasis on delivering solutions at speed and scale. - Ability to analyze and summarize data for clear reporting and actionable insights. - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and agile project tools.
