As a Security Officer Screening Desk in Georgetown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help monitor access, screen individuals and/or materials, and support daily operations through visible presence and strong communication. This role offers the chance to deliver customer-focused service while helping with security-related concerns in a fast-moving environment. Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or belongings entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-directed procedures, documenting irregularities and reporting concerns to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support orderly operations and appropriate follow-up.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entry points, trailer yards, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, screening records, and incident reports, and communicate clearly with Allied Universal leadership and onsite personnel regarding policy questions, operational issues, and/or unusual events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
