Job Description




As a Security Officer - Hospital Immunization Patrol Driver in Cleveland, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading healthcare location where you will patrol and monitor assigned areas to help support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff, including high-visibility spaces such as vaccine-related areas. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, document and communicate security-related concerns, and deliver customer-focused assistance. This is an unarmed driving post requiring a valid driver's license, where teamwork, integrity, and a people-first culture guide every shift.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and reporting concerns through the proper channels.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas such as entrances, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow as assigned, verify authorization when required, and assist with wayfinding and service requests while maintaining professional communication.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts according to post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • This is a hospital site and vaccines are required.
  • The client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
