As a Security Officer Customer Service Patrol Driver in HOUSTON, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic cultural institution location, where you will patrol assigned areas, complete routine driving patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout outdoor public areas, walkways, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor activity, and assist with crowd flow during daily operations, public events, and/or special programs at the location.
• Support the protection of property and grounds by identifying hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or suspicious behavior, then reporting findings through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
