Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic government transit location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support riders, visitors, and staff through clear communication and strong customer service while bringing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Pay Rate: $18.02 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government transit location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of transit property, bus areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points, noting unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized entry.
• Monitor assigned areas for security-related concerns, assist with access control practices, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when needed.
• Support daily operations by observing public activity, documenting incidents, and following post instructions for a fast-paced transportation environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
